Galway provides its own unique taste of Ireland from the Aran Islands strung across the mouth of Galway Bay to a Medieval City with many narrow streets full of character and with excellent shopping malls. There is plenty for children too with beaches, parks, indoor and outdoor leisure centres.

Fishing

These modernised self catering houses offer the keen angler excellent fishing facilities. A tackle shed with bait fridge is provided with each house. Tackle and bait are available from stockists in Ballinasloe. Packed lunches are available on request.

John, a keen angler himself, will be happy to advise you on fishing in the locality. One thing is certain, there will always be a warm friendly welcome for you at Newtown. An angler's rest in every sense of the word in the heart of peaceful and pleasant countryside.

These two recently renovated 19 Century Dormer Houses are the ideal base for touring the west of Ireland.

Both houses comprise of:

4 Bedrooms - sleeps 6 - 9.
Bathroom.
Shower Room.
Kitchen.
Sitting Room - with large open fire.
O.F.C.H.

Both houses are fully fitted with every modern convience. There is also a laundry on the premises with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, Bed linen supplied.
