This is a lovely tradition here in the Village where usually during the summer a day trip is organised. Margaret Pardy, Brid Pardy & Colette Breheny arranged and managed all the trips from 2000- 2011 and when you take a look below you will see all the detail that went into organising these trips so a special thanks for setting up such a lovely tradition.
In 2017 Loraine Treacy, Jacqueline Nevin & Colette Breheny arranged the latest trips and it is something we look forward to returning to once this current pandemic is over.

Derryglad Folk Museum in Curraghboy where there was a conducted tour. After dinner in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel onto Clonmacnoise where there was a short film of its history and then to Belmont to see a miniature village of time gone by. Music and craic followed in the Shannon Hotel, Banagher |
